Horse Fan Badge

• 1 hour - 1.5 hours
  
• Barn tour, barn and horse safety rules, horse management/care, horse grooming, riding equipment.

Horse Fan/Rider Badge

• 2 - 2.5 hours
  
• Horse Fan activities plus review of horse careers, health issues, anatomy of the horse.
  
• Each scout will learn basic riding skills, how to tack and un-tack a horse.
  
• Mounted Horse and Pony Rides 

• Horse riding demonstration.
  
• Cost $70 per scout
  

**Earn your Girl Scout or Brownie Patch/Badges at our farm all year long.  We invite your troop to visit our barn to learn and experience the world of horses.  We offer programs for both Brownies and Girl Scouts horse education patches or badges.  Book your troop event today.

** All pricing includes time on a horse, as well as the Patch/Badge(s) earned.  A deposit is required and final payment is due the day of the event, made payable to "Red Fox Creek Farm."  

**Please wear closed toe shoes preferably with a square heal and long pants.  Helmets are provided.  Our horses and ponies love carrots and apples, so feel free to bring some.  You may feed them to the horses and ponies with our supervision.

**Bring a snack and drink to enjoy while we are having our lesson time.

**A group photo will be made of the troop with one of the horses, so please bring your camera or we can take one for you.   

**All parents must sign a Hold harmless Release Waiver and Covid-19 Waiver before their child rides, which can be downloaded  on our website on the home page under "forms" and given to your troop leader to bring on the day of the event, or the troop leader can download this waiver to have signed by each participant.
